Robert M. Stone

Chief Financial Officer

Bob serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Boardwalk Capital Holdings, LTD. With over 35 years of real estate experience that includes the operational, financial and accounting facets of the industry, Bob brings a unique combination of skills to support the Company’s operations.

Bob began his career working for Arthur Andersen & Co, then the world’s largest public accounting firm, where he participated in audits and other engagements for clients that included Chicago area developers, contractors, banking institutions and financial investment firms. He left AA&Co to accept a positon as the Controller for a privately held real estate group that began operations as a general contractor and grew to include several subcontractors, a real estate development company, a property management company, a homebuilding operation and numerous real estate partnerships that owned various commercial properties for investment. He was soon promoted to Chief Financial Officer and a Vice President. During his 17 year tenure, Bob contributed extensively to corporate strategic planning that facilitated the growth of the group’s combined annual revenues from $25MM to $50MM. He managed the financial and accounting functions for both the construction and real estate business areas and directed many operating facets of the real estate group.

Bob then formed his own company and spent the next 12 years of his career directing its operations, which included a wide range of real estate investment services to developers, contractors, property owners and financial institutions. Among other things, these services included commercial property management, leasing and brokerage as well as the structuring, negotiation and placement of debt and equity.

In 2010, Bob took a position with the FDIC where he managed the real estate department of the FDIC’s Midwest Temporary Satellite Office in Schaumburg, Illinois. In addition to participating in numerous bank closings, his department oversaw and directed the management, marketing and sale of more than 1,200 real estate assets for an aggregate sales price of over $230,000,000.

Bob holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and is a Certified Public Accountant.
